Ajith Kozhikote is a skilled physician from Maharashtra, India. He has been working on a regular basis for healthy lifestyle of the people. Every day, he is encountered with various people with distinguished diseases. They trust his abilities and make a strong connection with him. This easy going attitude of the physician has helped him in building a team of enthusiastic professionals which includes physicians, nurses, and professors from all parts of Maharashtra to deliver workshops and seminars on health related issues.
The seminars conducted by this group have created awareness amongst the people, and they have been benefited with this knowledge. Recently, in a workshop organized by Ajith Kozhikote and his team, the cancer patients were given a deep insight about the disease and the treatments available for its cure. A team of twenty dedicated people organized this workshop very smartly. They also focused on the role of nutrition, exercise and medication in curing the cancer patient. Apart from this, the family members of the patient were given special seminar on taking proper care of the patient, and to cope with their disease.
According to one of the team members and Ajith’s colleague, Shantanu Das, the need for such workshops is a must in our society. Cancer is a dangerous disease, and so is it’s effect on the patient and on the family. The emotional and the physical breakdown of the patient is drastic in such conditions. These seminars and workshops enlighten them about the existing treatments for such diseases, and also make them strong to combat the situation with confidence. The footfall at this workshop was huge, and not only did the cancer patients under Ajith’s observation participate, many other hospitals sent their patients along with their families.
When such workshops are organized, the main focus is kept on preparing the patients about their situation. They are definitely not leading a normal life like other people, but the initiative is to convince them to do so. The day was really exciting, and with the tight schedule and intelligent management, the workshop was a huge success.
